Hello to all Charles Telfair and Curtin Students.
My name is Hans Balgobin. I am currently studying in Mauritius at the Charles Telfair Institute which is found at Moka.I am enrolled for a B.com in Tourism, event management and PR. I live in a small village near Pamplemousses which is found in the north of the country and I am 19 years old. I am a Hindu by birth. I completed my secondary education at the Rabindranath Tagore Secondary School, which is a branch of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. I live with my parents and a brother but a long time back I formed part of an extended family.
I like travelling, reading books, watching movies and games. I am fascinated by history. Particularly about Ancient Egyptian Civilizations, mystery of the Sphinx of Giza, Mystery of the Easter Islands and the Moai as well as Indian history and that of China.
I am a very reserved person. I am not that 'fashion fashion fashion' type of person. I do not smoke nor do I drink and really hope to maintain these habits till my last day. I believe that you can make good friends and maintain a good relationship with others if they are attracted by your personality, character, behaviour and culture. My ideas may seem orthodox or stupid but the foundation of a true relationship(friendship) rest on these things.
My goal is to have my Australian Degree and get a fantastic job with a fantastic salary. My aim is also to move up the social ladder. As I have asian blood running in my veins, I really think my parents to be my priorities. Once I am well-settled, I will help the poor as well. Thank You very much.
